Local Helpline

Angela, our dedicated helpline volunteer, is here to support you every step of the way. With a healthcare degree and over ten years of experience assisting people affected by Parkinson’s, Angela brings compassion, expertise, and a personal touch to every enquiry.

Whether you call our helpline on 01604 244 444, use the contact form, or email us, Angela will ensure your message is handled promptly and professionally and stress-free as possible.

Practical Support

If you need support with applying for benefitshousing issues, or accessing care services, you don’t have to face it alone. We are here to guide you every step of the way.

Whether you’re unsure where to start, struggling with complex forms, or simply need advice tailored to your situation, we’re here to provide compassionate and practical assistance. No question is too small, and no challenge is too big.

Friendship Calls

Living with Parkinson’s can sometimes feel isolating, but you don’t have to face it alone. Our Befriending Calls Service is here to offer a friendly voice, a listening ear, and a regular connection to brighten your day.

Our team of caring volunteers is dedicated to providing support and companionship through scheduled phone calls. Whether you want to chat about your day, share your thoughts, or simply hear a friendly voice, we’re here for you.

We offer a range of activities to support people with Parkinson’s and their families. Join us for exercise classes, social meet-ups, and activities designed to improve well-being, mobility, and connection. Find out about all of our activities.

Walking Groups

Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Walking Groups meet three times a week, gentle exercise and good company.

Fit & Fab

Every Thursday – Exercise group which welcomes everyone over 60 and people with health issues.

Lunch Club

First Tuesday of the month. Great for meeting fellow members and enjoying a wide selection of food

Monthly Meet-up

Second Tuesday of the month. Interesting speakers, a chance to chat and meet like minded others plus free beverages.
